Pilonidal cyst, also called hair cyst, is one of the most common diseases at a young age that causes pain, purulent discharge and blood in the buttock and at the bottom of the poor spine.
There are several treatments for this disease, with almost every 3% to 20% chance of recurrence. One of the new and less invasive methods is Epsit (Endoscopic pilonidal sinus treatment), which enters the cyst area using a very thin endoscopic device (1mm), after which the hair inside the cyst is emptied and the cyst space is burned and catheterized. We go out and then the cyst closes and the treatment is done.
Pilonidal cyst surgery (EPSIT) is a minimally invasive procedure due to the lack of invasive skin incision and no sutures needed. Recovery is very short and one day and the disease can return to normal life the next day.
The surgical pain of pilonidal cyst with low invasive Epsit procedure is much less than other methods and has no specific complications.
