
Dr Hossein Yousef Fam
Dr. Hossein Youseffam is a General Surgery Specialist and holds a Fellowship in Colorectal Surgery (Large Intestine and Anus). He completed his medical education in General Medicine at the University of Tehran from 1994 to 2002. Following that, from 2005 to 2009, he pursued his General Surgery residency at Urmia University.
After completing the required training, Dr. Youseffam obtained his Colorectal Surgery Fellowship from Iran University of Medical Sciences in 2014. Since then, he has worked as a colorectal surgeon in various hospitals across Tehran.
Learning and applying the newest and most advanced colorectal surgery techniques has always been Dr. Youseffam’s primary focus. He has participated in multiple international courses to stay updated with modern surgical advancements, aiming to provide the highest quality of surgery with state-of-the-art equipment for his fellow countrymen.
The use of laparoscopic surgery techniques in colon and rectal cancers is among the most innovative and minimally invasive methods in colorectal cancer treatment. Dr. Youseffam performs these surgeries using the latest laparoscopic equipment available worldwide at Erfan Niayesh Hospital.
